Angels of the House: Unpaid Labor and 'Women's Work'

Women face vast industrial and workplace inequity in Australia. In addition to performing most unpaid domestic work, we dominate the underpaid care and service industries.

Join Young Labor Left to discuss the intersectional implications of gendered labour and unpaid work.

We will be joined by a group of amazing panellists: Gomeroi Woman Gwenda Stanley - from Stanley Village Moree NSW - Activist, Educator, Dancer, Leader, Ambassador, Dr Anne-Maree Payne, Professor of Social and Political Science at UTS, Dr Sabrin Farooqui, President of Cultural Diversity Network Inc. and Mich-Elle Myers, Campaigns Director and Elected National Divisional Women's Representative of the Maritime Union of Australia.
