COVID-19 is no exception. Join Young Labor Left hear from three expert panellists on how the current pandemic exacerbates the challenges women experience.
Alison Pennington, Senior Economist at the Centre for Future Work, Jess D’Arienzo, industrial officer at the Nurses and Midwives Association, and Sam Parker, Assistant Coordinator at Western Sydney Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service will be leading a discussion on the issues women are facing during these unprecedented times. From the particular dangers faced by frontline workers in feminised industries, to the ongoing struggles of unequal domestic labour and family violence faced in the home.
